What’s On in Hertfordshire This April?

With March coming to an end and April on the horizon. Let’s take a look at what’s happening this April!

Wednesday 21tst March – Friday 21st June 2019

Carpenters woods is a beautiful woods, located near Chorleywood. The ancient woodland is home to many wildlife animals.

The woods are full of beech trees which make a very dense walkway. It’s a fantastic place to explore and now is one of the best times to go and explore it, due to the floor being covered with thousands of bluebells. Perfect picture opportunity!

The Hospice of St Francis – Moor Park Golf Day

Tuesday 2nd April

Want to play golf this year?

Join the Hospice of St Francis for their first ever Golf Day located at Moor Park Golf Club!

You and three others can register as a team. Alternatively, individuals can register and then be placed together to make a team of 4. Registration is £70 for members and £100 for non-members. By taking part in the event, you’ll be making a huge difference.

There have been many champions to walk on the Moor Park Golf Course, like Roberto de Vicenzo, Arnold Palmer and Lee Trevino. That’s only naming a few.

Did we mention that the Hospice of St Francis is one of the charities that we work closely with?

Hertford Arts Festival 2019

Friday 5th April – Sunday 5th May

This year’s annual Hertford Arts Festival returns to showcase and promote the county town’s local arts.

The festival’s events include Hertfordshire’s Art Trail, Hertfordshire’s Castle Craft Market and a variety of cultural events including the Courtyard Arts Open Exhibition, Hertford Theatre Week and the Arts of Society Exhibition.
