Say Happy Birthday OAK SUITE! It’s two years ago that we opened the doors to our exclusive conference centre, The Oak Suite – one of the premier venues in Hertfordshire’s crown. Here are 5 reasons why you should consider it for your next conference or corporate event…

A flexible and versatile space

Completed in October 2016, the exterior woods have now weathered and softened in tone and help blend the building into its surroundings. The neutral colours and floor to ceiling windows allow the whole suite to feel open and spacious, whilst retaining the versatility our clients require.  It has the ability to work with any event type, colour scheme and theme – who wants garish wall colours or art that may detract from your conference – or worse, ruin it! We’re a proudly independent venue, and so we created a building that allows our clients a wealth of choices when it comes to personalising their event

State-of-the-art technology

Within the purpose-built suite is an integrated PA system, app-controlled projector system, multi-level room lighting, plus fantastic mood lights that can be personalised to your colour scheme (with 120 colours to choose from!) The suite also features a wall-mounted TV, and a 3-metre screen perfect for delivering those important presentations.

Furniture designed for you

With a range of layout options available, we can design the space exactly how you want it to work for your conference. This includes ‘half-moon’ tables, designed to give the maximum number of delegates places whilst keeping space in mind. Our ‘8-hour’ conference chairs are ergonomically designed for the comfort of delegates – no death by meeting room here at Aubrey Park!

An Ideal Location

Self-contained doesn’t mean remote – we’re only 8 minutes from the M1, 20 minutes from Luton Airport and a 20-minute train away from London! With great transport links in the surrounding towns of Hemel Hempstead, St Albans and Harpenden there will be no difficulty reaching us.

Get Creative

The suite can be used for almost any type of event you can think of – even vehicle entry isn’t a problem and we’ve previously hosted successful new car launches.

Our sun-filled foyer is perfect for greeting delegates and getting them registered, and is complete with comfy sofas and chairs to relax after a long conference. The foyer is also complete with a private, fully stocked bar, perfect for an evening switch around turning the space from conference to party!

On those hot summer days, our terrace is yet another one of the unique features the Oak Suite can offer and adds to the versatile space available to you. If the weather’s right, why not choose a BBQ option for your delegate lunch, grilled in front of your eyes!

  • Summer family day on the meadow, complete with fairground attractions, music and stalls.
  • National Sales Directors monthly meeting, using all internal IT facilities and including an overnight stay in the hotel
  • Annual conference with an evening room change for a gala dinner, making use of the inbuilt uplighters and private bar
