This plant-based café has only been open since Summer 2018, but is already gaining popularity as a local vegan hotspot. Located in the County to Coast homeware store and overlooking the beautiful St Albans cathedral, they serve a variety of vegan food and drinks, including salads, breakfast bowls and cake.

 

The Wellbeing Café

Unit T, Penfold Trading Estate, Imperial Way, Watford

This yoga studio and café aims to offer Watford a healthy and delicious way to eat, with a range of homemade vegan food. As well as pressed juices made to order, they serve dishes such as superfood salads, vegan chilli and a range of vegan cakes. They’re dog friendly too!

 

The Marchmont Arms

Piccotts End, Hemel Hempstead

There’s something for everyone on the Marchmont Arm’s menu – from roasted lentil falafel to their spinach & harissa burger. With a full separate vegan menu available you’ll be spoilt for choice – it’s full of classic favourites with a plant-based twist.

Open since October 2014, the Green Kitchen is 100% vegan, child and dog friendly. All food is cooked to order, with an affordable menu featuring pick and mix platters, and tasty favourites such as the smoothie bowl, super salad and curry of the day.

This plant-based café believes that by eating nutritious superfoods, we’re not only benefitting our lives but the earth’s too. Serving all day breakfast and brunch, as well as a wide range of organic smoothies and hot beverages, each dish is carefully crafted to be low in fat, high in fibre and bursting with superfoods.

Zizzis is renowned amongst vegans for providing a varied and tasty menu – far from the typical veggie burger and fruit salad options! Their delicious pizza toppings include roasted red onions, butternut squash and smoked chilli jelly, with pasta dishes also available.
