Our Environmental Policy


Aubrey Park Hotel is committed to provide the best environment in respect of our team members and our guests.  We do understand the need to protect our natural environment. As a hotel the day to day operations can have a huge impact on the natural resources such as water and energy.We have focused on key points and with efficient management we aim to:


Improve energy efficiency and reduce our carbon footprint

Replacing with low energy lighting where possible and practical,

The use of sensor lighting in our public area washrooms

Reduce flush flow in our public area washrooms

Improving on heating and air conditioning control

Encouraging our guest to save energy in the re-use of towels

Water conserving shower heads to replace original programme

Energy meter reading taken regularly and usage monitored


Administer a consistent waste recycle programme

We recognises that as a priority waste should be prevented, minimised, reused, recycled and recovered for energy before disposal.

Cardboard is bailed and collected by a service provider and taken to a recycling centre

Used batteries and ink cartridges are taken to a local recycling centre by a member of our green team

Used cooking oil is collected is by a service provider and converted to green oil

Old staff uniforms in good condition taken to a local charity shop by a green team member


Provide training to staff on environmental awareness

Staff environmental green team committee to spread awareness

Company induction includes hotel environmental strategy

Source and promote a product range to minimise the environmental impact of both production and distribution
